This post is about an symbian s60 application providing us nokia email service.Nokia Email Service is a free push email solution in beta for S60 smartphones that automatically delivers email from your current email address to your Nokia device. It fetches messages from your POP3 or IMAP4 email account in real-time as new email arrives in your Inbox.

Nokia Email service enables you to do the following on your Nokia device:
- View, respond, forward, compose and delete emails
- Manage your email inbox, outbox, drafts, and sent folders
- Completely integrated with your device's phonebook

You can use any POP3 or IMAP4 email account with this service. Moreover, all traffic between your cellphone and Nokia’s servers is encrypted with SSL.

To sign up for Nokia Email service, click here to go to the registration page and fill in the following details:

- Your supported Nokia device model: for now, Nokia E51, E61, E61i, E65, E66, E71, E90, N73, N80, N81 8GB and N95

After all the information has been entered, Nokia Email service sends an SMS text message to your mobile device with a link to the Nokia Email service client software. This link guides you through the installation of Nokia Email service software on your device. You can run Nokia Email across multiple phones.

There is no charge for using Nokia Email service during the beta trial. However, you may incur third party charges in connection with the transfer and receipt of data to your mobile device, such as the mobile data service cost charged by your wireless operator. Your wireless operator can provide you with cost information about its mobile data service plans.

Nokia Email service can run on your Nokia device alongside most other email solutions without any problems. However, if you are currently using Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite, this must be uninstalled before using Nokia Email service.

Note: Corporate email and MSN Hotmail are not currently supported, but come back to check out future beta releases.
